Weekly Update: April 9, 2016


		Welcome to the 2016 Season! Thanks to all the families and fans who celebrated a very soggy opening day last weekend. We're even more excited to get the games going today. As a reminder, coaches cannot cancel games; only league officials can.

Parents' Meeting Set for April 14

Scheduling conflicts forced us to move our preseason Parents' Meeting to this week. We hope to have a good turnout on Thursday night at 6:30pm at West Harlem Head Start. Parents of new and returning Little Leaguers are expected to attend.

Clinic Registration

Harlem Little League has partnered with Dick's Sporting Goods and the professional coaches at the Baseball Factory to present a special one-day clinic next Sunday, April 17. Register your Little Leaguer -- or yourself -- today!

Crowdfunding Update

Our crowdfunding campaign got a big bump with a generous donation from Dick's Sporting Goods and the Baseball Factory at opening day, but we've still got a ways to go. Make your tax-deductible donation today!

Volunteers, Volunteers, Volunteers

Volunteers are the backbone of Harlem Little League and we're proud that from the president on down, our league is 100 percent volunteer-run. However, for the safety of our players, and to comply with Little League Baseball rules, all volunteers must submit to and pass an annual background check. It's not too late to volunteer!
