Join us on Saturday, June 30 as we come together to celebrate the 2018 season!
Our annual Closing Day Ceremony and Awards Presentation will be held at Marcus Garvey Park beginning at 11am. All players and families are invited to attend. We will have a big, old-fashioned potluck as well as trophy presentations for all teams.
In order to make this event a success, we need you!
Here's how you can pitch in:
Volunteer Needs
Volunteers are needed to help with trophy set up and distribution, hanging up the banners around the field and setting up for the potluck.
Trophy set up (arrive at 9am at Shea Field): 2 volunteers
Banner hanging (at 9am): 4 volunteers
Potluck prep (at 10am): 4 volunteers
Trophy distribution: 2 volunteers
Shepherding traffic off of the field after Closing Day: 2 volunteers
Potluck Food Service: 6 volunteers

Potluck Needs
What's a potluck without food? We're asking everyone to pitch in -- please bring generous portions (enough to feed two teams!) as we have many mouths to feed.
Tee Ball Families: packs of beef hot dogs and buns
Rookies Families: hamburger patties and buns
AAA + Softball Families: Side dishes (corn, salad, fruit, etc.)
Majors/Juniors Families: Ice, beverages, desserts and condiments
Many hands make light work -- we're counting on everyone pitching in and helping make this a memorable sendoff into summer.
Please have your Little Leaguer in uniform (jerseys are OK for AAA, Softball and Majors players who don't play closing day) as sponsors often show up to celebrate and snap pictures with their teams!
Stick around after the Closing Day ceremony to cheer on our AAA teams as they vie for championship honors. The Diamonds face the Lenox Barons at 3pm!
