Honoring Gwen Scott

Good evening,

We're reaching out to share the information for the homegoing services for Gwendolyn P. Scott, long-time Harlem Little League board member and former league president who passed away on Wednesday, December 1.

Gwen was a steady, unwavering presence in the league and our longest-standing active board member whose dedication to the league and our mission of Building Big League Citizens never wavered. Beyond her board service, she was a team sponsor and active in the greater Harlem community, serving as a board member of West Harlem Head Start for several years.

Her impact on the youth of Harlem is far-reaching and will be greatly missed.

Because of COVID precautions, only family and designated invitees will be allowed to attend the memorial in person, but we request the honor or your presence at the virtual service and will work to plan a community celebration of her life and contributions in the near future.
