Harlem Little League Safety Update

In accordance with changing city-wide guidelines, and after careful evaluation of comments from our community, Harlem Little League will strongly encourage—but not require—mask wearing on the fields this seasons by all players and volunteers.

Those families who want their children to continue wearing masks are encouraged to instruct them to do so. We will have extras on hand for anyone who needs them, and we ask all community members to respect one another’s choices.

Recognizing that we are still in the midst of the pandemic, we reserve the right to revise this guidance if conditions warrant and will do so in consultation with our partners at the Parks Department and New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.

We do kindly request that parents be especially cognizant of any COVID-related symptoms and withhold their children from all league activities (including practices and games) should any symptoms arise. Furthermore, if your child is subject to any quarantine due to exposure, it is our expectation they will refrain from Harlem Little League activities until that quarantine period has passed.

The health of our community as a whole is of the utmost importance to us, and we respectfully request request your assistance in protecting all Harlem Little Leaguers, their families, and volunteers  by paying diligent attention to your child’s health.

We look forward to seeing you on the fields soon!
