Post-Season Tournament Tryouts Announced

Harlem Little League is pleased to announce Shelia de Castro (Traders) and Robert Casteline (Omega Trailblazers) have been selected as the managers for the Harlem Little League Post-Season Tournament Teams that will compete in the Little League Baseball International Tournament.

Tryout dates are as follows:

Majors Division Post-Season Tournament Team Tryouts:
Monday, June 6
5:30pm
Rucker Park (please note, this is a different location than Major Division practices and games)*

AAA Division Post-Season Tournament Team Tryouts:
Tuesday, June 7
5:30pm
Rucker Park

Please be advised that all players must meet the eligibility requirements set forth by Little League Baseball International. Players must reside or attend school within Harlem Little League boundaries or have an applicable waiver on file. Documentation will be required to prove tournament eligibility. All questions on tournament eligibility should be directed to player agent Omar Taveras.

Tournament play begins in late June and continues into the summer until the team is eliminated. All tournaments are double-elimination format. Players must be willing to attend extra practices leading up to the tournament in addition to honoring their commitments to their regular-season teams.

*Majors players who have a league age of 10 must tryout for the Majors Division team. If, and only if, they are not selected to that squad, they may try out for the AAA team.
