Harlem Little League's Opening Day Parade Set

Harlem Little League kicks off its 34th season of baseball on Saturday, April 15, and all are invited to its traditional Opening Day parade, which processes through the streets of Harlem. Players, coaches, volunteers, and fans are all welcome to participate.

The parade steps off from the school yard at Eagle Academy for Young Men of Harlem on 135th Street and Edgecombe Avenue at 10 a.m. and heads north through Harlem to the Jackie Robinson Park Bandshell where a brief opening ceremony will be held before we proclaim it time to "Play Ball!"

Harlem Little League's Opening Day festivities, initially schedule for Saturday, April 1 but rescheduled due to rain, will now be held to coincide with the NYC Parks Department's Jackie Robinson Day Celebration, which includes a family-friendly festival in the park all day long. Full details on the festival can be found here.
